Outreach

The New Hope ministry brings a weekly church service to those in a local rehabilitation program. It is an opportunity to reach those in difficult times in their lives. The team brings worship, prayer, and a short message. 

Our food pantry distributes food to those in need. Call the church office Monday - Friday between 9 am and 5 pm for food pantry hours.

The missions committee promotes missions to the church body and keeps them up to date with the activities of the missionaries we support. Monmouth Worship Center currently provides monthly financially support to over 50 missionaries and missions organizations. The committee meets to review news of those in the field, as well as to interview prospective and visiting missionaries for possible support. We also assist planning short-term missions trips and plan and run the annual missions convention. 

The evangelism ministry reaches out to the community through various church and community events. Altar workers pray with new believers and assist them in their spiritual growth.

The purpose of the benevolence ministry is to draw people closer to Jesus Christ by helping to meet their basic financial needs in times of crisis or transition, according to biblical directives and fiscal guidelines. The needs of members, staff, and regular attendees of the church are considered first. We will also consider the needs of neighbors and others associated with our church community. 

Care center teams bring the gospel of Jesus Christ to the sick, elderly, shut-in and disabled in four different local care centers. Teams present a worship service with music and a message, and spend time greeting the residents.
