One thing most people do not know about me is……. I love to cook!

If I were President, I would……. Get rid of political parties and have everyone be American before they were a Democrat or Republican.

What I am looking forward most to in heaven is……. the ability to truly love Jesus with all my heart and all my mind.

My dream is……. to equip and raise up generations of students for a lifetime of walking in God’s love and giving it away.

What I like best about Monmouth Worship Center is…….
The diversity! This is what heaven will look like.

Background:

I was born and raised in Cedar Grove NJ. I married Marjorie Ortiz in 2003. She was my youth group sweet heart and shares my passion for student ministry and missions. We have one child, a beautiful boy named Elijah. I graduated from Valley Forge Christian College (now the University of Valley Forge) in 2007. I served as youth pastor of Mountaintop Church for almost 8 years.
My heart’s greatest desire is to raise up generations of young people committed to a lifetime of walking in God’s love and giving it away. I’m excited to help create a safe place for students to belong regardless of their beliefs and want all students to know they’re welcome at MWC youth ministry.
Aside from Jesus, my family, and student ministry I also love all sports! I played basketball in college and currently do mixed martial arts and have competed at North American Grappling Association competitions.
I love hanging with students and grabbing some coffee. I share the same name with my senior pastor and am a firm believer the only thing better than one Pastor Ken is two! I’m excited about the future of the youth ministry at Monmouth Worship Center and look forward to meeting you.
